For some it might take 20yrs. just to "see" a little and then for others they may be smacked with a large influx!

Speaking of reading books that was the first thing I started doing here at 12-13yrs. of age not to develop but to find "answers" as to what actually had started much earlier as a small child of 4yrs. of age.

And then I knew what subject to start to looking into when the 1960s tv series "The Sixth Sense" with Gary Collins first started airing. That was one tv series I found myself glued to at that age in addition to the now infamous Star Trek, Gumsmoke, Bonanza, etc. shows still on the air in 1967.

The one thing I found since then was that when "anything" was to come in it would tend to smack me in the face at times! And yes some of the experiences throughout my life would get anyone's attention real fast!

The best word of advice anyone can give you is keep a positive frame of mind as well as an open one and don't be expecting things. If it is to come to you at all you'll know sooner or later! :)

Orbs have been seen in different colors. Many are caught on film while black orbs are the more elusive. One blog writer reports that brillient illuminated orbs seem to show when negative emotions(ghost or living) are high while black orbs are more or less neutral.

The blog referred to can be seen at: http://www.showmeghostswest.com/news.php?item.9.3

The description of seeing them about the size of a grapefruit also seems to be what the writer reports there as well. Some report seeing them regularly while most tend to find them rare.

Another researcher in this area of study suggests orbs represent the often heard expression of "tunnel of light" when someone describes an NDE or Near Death Experience. The writer mentions red, yellow, purple, and also rare gold and blue orbs as well as differing types of orbs.

The article titled "The NDE and Orbs" cab be reviewed at: http://www.near-death.com/experiences/research17.html

The writer there reflects on the Edgar Cayce materials somewhat on orbs being souls which I tend to agree with more. The experience you report suggests one or two "ghostly" presences were there.

Just finished reading it myself dear! I wish you well on your quest. As I have mentioned in detail before, the doors I hold open for you are open still. You need only walk through them to receive my offers. Love and Light to you!

Comment on My Take on Animal Spirits by Taunya13

I agree that animal spirits and entities can linger here and maintain their emotional properties. I have had several personal experiences with animal spirits/entities.

One such encounter came when my cat Indy passed away. I adopted Indy and he was extremely attached to me. Unfortunately he had medical problems and despite all the vets efforts, he passed away at home. I was devastated. That night and every night after he passed for the next few weeks I felt Indy get up on my bed and curl up by my legs like he use to when he was alive.

My most recent encounter came just last week, when I went to my friends house for dinner. He had just moved into the apartment and I remember him stating that he wish he could get a cat, but the landlord did not allow animals. This was why I was shocked when out of the corner of my eye I saw what looked like a cat rub against the stove and continue on into the living room. Checking the living room I did not find a cat. I chalked it up to a play of lighting or my imagination, until I saw the cat again going from the bathroom into the kitchen. I confirmed with my friend that he did not have a cat...I told him "on the contrary, I think you do!"

As a side note, I too am an animal lover and have rescued many cats in my time...I find that they are drawn to me because they are able to sense my loving nature/energy.
