Inv# 022010SAR

Inv#  022010SAR - This case was a private residence in Taunton, MA.  The owners of this home had experienced some paranormal incidents in the past, appiritions of an older man in 1800′s period clothing and were curious if their home was really haunted or not.  Case Photos or back to Gallery Listing

The investigatory team consisted of four TMPRG members, one TRIPRG member and one observer: Inv. David Costello, Inv. Heidi Fisher, Inv. Dan Carmichael, Inv. Ryan Barton, guest Sensitive Maggie Florio (on loan from TRIPRG) and guest observer David Florio.

The family history was found to be unremarkable with nothing to note.  Of special note it was revealed to this investigator by Client 1 that the tenant/occupant of the attached ‘In-law’ apartment was a widower whose husband had met his demise, by unknown means, while away from the residence.  His ashes were deposed in the tenants’ bedroom.

The interview continued with the focus now on the dwelling itself.  Client1 revealed that the home had once been the home of the Taunton Mayor and that a ghostly figure had been seen in the residence on two occasions and that the entity seemed to resemble a male figure set in the time period that the Mayor had resided in the home.  This entity had been seen on the main central stair case (off the kitchen) and in the ‘in-law’ apartment (from the backyard; outside vantage looking in).

Client 1 further stated the home had been in her family for several generations and had at one time been a gathering place for the family sharing many happy and sad times.  Recently the home experienced a fire causing severe damage to the structure.  The family was able to rebuild and now happily continue to occupy the home.

Setup for the investigation began at 1730hrs and was fully completed by 1748hrs at which point the investigation was initiated.

Synopsis:

Environmental conditions were unremarkable.  EMF/VLF readings were remarkable with one EMF spike in the main residence dining room registering 16.38 and another spike registering 14.83 in the in-laws apartment living room.  Both EMF spikes were free floating with no aparent source discovered.

Photographic evidence of orb activity was captured and shown in the gallery for this investigation. The balance of the photographic imagery was unremarkable and maintained by the respective investigators.

Personal experiences consisted of tactile prickly sensations to Inv. Barton’s right foot.  These experiences only manifested in the 2nd Bedroom and did not seem threatening in any way.  Sensitive Florio felt the impression of a young girl, five years of age, on the main stairs and the name Elizabeth Gertrude Simon came to mind.  Sensitive Florio further revealed that Elizabeth liked the cats and the dolls in the Master bedroom.  A video camera was placed on the Master bedroom dresser with negative results.

Sensitive Florio while investigating the in-law apartment reported that she felt a ‘heaviness’ in the bathroom and a male energy in the bedroom.  A name beginning with the letter ‘A’ (possibly ‘Alan’) and further continued to report energy changes in the basement area near the bar; a darker energy.

Based on the evidence gathered, the input of Client1 and the experiences reported by the investigators and sensitive that were in attendance for the investigation; it has been determined by this investigator that the dwelling in question is in fact experiencing classic low-level, transient ‘haunting’ phenomena. There appears to be one main intelligent entity:  Elizabeth.

While all environmental readings remained normal in relation to the established baseline there were still two areas of notable EMF levels that appeared to be free floating with no apparent source.  An EVP was captured and preliminary analysis cannot determine what it is other than an anomalous sound.  Through the Sensitive’s ability, contact was made with an entity, however more research needs to be done to determine if in fact there was a person named Elizabeth Gertrude Simon who lived on the premises at some point in history.

In conclusion, it is the recommendation of this investigator that the home that Client1 and Client2 occupy be left as is with no intervention needed or necessary unless requested.  This case is considered closed unless reopened by the client(s) at some future date.
