Inv# 041710DUN - A residential investigation we performed in Milford, MA.  The home owners had been experiencing poltergeist like activity.  Both owners claimed to have heard noises and disembodied voices in an almost conversation like banter.  Visual and physical interaction with something paranormal had been reported.  Case Photos

The preliminary began with a standard interview of Client 1 and Client 2 at their home by Inv. Costello; Inv. Cramer and Inv. Schultz were also present and performing initial EMF readings of the property as well as other environmental readings (temperature and humidity).  Through out the interview both clients were very forth coming with personal information which allowed for a good profile of the couple to be built.  Client 1 and Client 2 seemed to be uneasy with each other and admitted that they had both been under recent stress in their relationship and that they further believed that they could attribute their stressful situation to the paranormal activity they were recently experiencing in their home.  Environmental readings were ‘normal’ with only one area being notable due to the location of the homes electrical service and a leaking breaker box in the master bedroom.

The interview continued and focus shifted to the activity which they had been experiencing in their home.  Client 1 stated that she had only experienced feelings of sadness and “something like the feeling of being watched”.  Client 1 further stated that she sometimes felt as if she were confused or experiencing feelings of confusion but that she thought these feelings were brought about by what her husband, Client 2, had been experiencing and the resulting stress.  Both Client 1 & 2 felt that the majority of the activity was centered around the kitchen area.

Client 2 continued the interview relaying his experiences in the home.  Besides feelings of unease and reporting problems sleeping, Client 2 reported the sounds of mumbled conversation emanating from the Southern most wall in the bedroom, interestingly enough it is important to note that this wall is adjacent to the master bath and kitchen.  Client 2 further went on to report that on one evening he witnessed a dark shadow like object, no bigger than one square foot, drop down through the ceiling and appear to flutter towards their direction at ceiling height, follow the ceiling  for a short distance only to pass back up through the ceiling to where the unoccupied attic space is.

Client 2 further went on to say that he also had witnessed a little blond haired girl peeking at him from the kitchen area while he was in the living room and that she appeared to be in Victorian dress.  He further stated that he got the impression that she was mischievous like Dennis the Mennis.  When Client 2 was asked if there were anything else he wanted to report he said that he always seemed to get scratched while walking through the doorway that leads from the kitchen to the living room area; Client 1 confirmed that this happens alot to Client 2 in this area and further stated that she had on several occasions witnessed these scratches occur.  The doorway was examined and found to be unremarkable.

Following the preliminary interview the information gathered was reviewed and while all on site preliminary readings were within what could be considered acceptable normal ranges, based on the personal accounts of Clients 1 & 2, it was determined that a multi-phase investigation would be initiated.

Synopsis:

On 04/25/10 TMPRG returned to the Milford, MA investigation site with a full complement of investigators.  Given the clients claims of activity digital recorders were established in all the rooms of the home and recorded the entire second phase.  Upon review there were no EAP or EVP that were found.  All recordings were processed using ’Praat’ speech analysis software and found to be negative.

The physical science team reported unremarkable levels of EMF/ELF.  Temperature and humidity levels were normal for the season.  The physical science team upon the conclusion of their observations concluded that all environmental readings were within acceptable normal ranges with the previously noted hot spots remaining the same and within +/-.05mG of the original readings.

The home was photographically documented and there was a remarkable level of orb activity.  While some of the orb activity can be attributed to dust and insects the images presented in the gallery indicated for this investigation are believed to represent anomalous orb activity.  It needs to be stated here that while the status of orbs have yet to be determined it is the belief of TMPRG that orb activity does denote a high probability of paranormal activity.

Another odd phenomena that should be noted was the hazing of the camera lenses in the kitchen area.  This ‘haze’ was not visible to the naked eye and forced a servicability check of the camera equipment used.  This equipment was found to be servicable.  A comparison of other images taken in the home in various other locations proved  this as all other images were sharp and clear and otherwise unremakable unless an orb had been captured.

On 05/08/10 Reverend Richard Gravely and guest sensitive Mrs. Brenda Jackson accompanied members of TMPRG to perform a house blessing and a requested smudging.    Environmental readings were taken showing nothing other than the established EMF/ELF hot spots.  Digital recorders again yielded no EVP/EAP.  Photographic evidence only revealed an odd movement in front of an image of Client 1.  The balance of photographic imagery was negative.

While the claims of Client 1 and Client 2 continue, other than the photographic evidence that was captured, there was nothing else to support their claims of paranormal activity or haunting.  It is this investigators belief that Client 1 and Client 2 are infact experiencing something but that the lack of evidence, other than photographic, at best supports an inconclusive investigation result.  TMPRG will return to this investigation site if requested but for now consider it to be closed.
